“This effort is going to make it possible to introduce a whole new generation of gamers to LucasArts’ classic games,” said Darrell Rodriguez, president of LucasArts. “It also gives more people a chance to play our games by making them available long after they’ve disappeared from store shelves. We hope our fans are as excited as we are about our plans and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next. This is just the beginning.”

What fantastic new this is for gamers everywhere. The world’s a better place knowing that these classics can be revisited at an affordable price. More importantly you can stop banging on to your kids and younger peers about how they don’t make games like they used to, they can discover for themselves!

Will those adventure games we hold so dear in our memories hold up against modern day scrutiny? At last we get to find out.
