Sanctuary4Gamers vs MidLife Gamer Final Round!

It has been a long time coming, but we’ve finally completed the challange that Steve from Sanctuary4Gamers set up all those many weeks ago.

To recap, we started with Rock Band which MLG won.

Secondly it was Forza 2, in which Chris aced me and brought us to a tiebreak situation. So it was all down to a community effort with Left 4 Dead.

The MLG team consisted of myself, BiscuitWolverine, Lappy and Phizzy.  Pitted against S4G’s team of MonkeyChunkUK, LilLady915, Los KnuckKnucks and zl Simzo lz (With Snajper taking over from Los KnuckKnucks in the second game)

Round 1 – No Mercy.

End of round points were MLG 4148 against S4G 280

Round 2 – Blood Harvest

End of round points were MLG 5025 against S4G 316

Seeing as it was a foregone conclusion we decided to mix the teams up for a friendly final game.

All in all, a great and friendly test of gaming skill between 2 great communities, thankfully with MidLife Gamer taking the gold.  Thanks goes to all over at S4G who joined in and we look forward to hearing the rendition of The Winner Takes it All.

Final thanks goes to everyone who’s played with us during our Undead Tuesdays, which it would seem is the ultimate training ground for everything Left 4 Dead!

Now without further ado, here we have a compilation of the best bits from the 2 hours worth of footage I was able to capture (if possible watch in High Quality to get a better idea of the scores)

Good work Matt, Phizzy, Biscuit and Lappy. With scores like that I think even our B team from Undead Tuesdays could’ve beaten them hands down, but don’t let that take anything away from your achievement. Those are some mighty scores and a major ass whipping.

Well played S4G, but you just found out how much it hurst when MLG go balls deep! 🙂

@dno1970, I wish you would reword that mate – ‘looking forward to STEVE’s ABBA tribute.

Th only thing is that I think he probably practised that more than L4D.

Good on yer lads!
